The International School of Beaverton (ISB) Computer Science Club needs your help acquiring current programs (LeetCode + Replit for Education) that can be used on school issued Chromebooks. Your support will allow all club members to have access to relevant programming resources and the funds necessary to create a chapter of the Computer Science Honor Society. Membership in the honor society allows members to graduate with national honor society recognition and be identified by colleges and other institutions for computer science proficiency.

The ISB Computer Science Club aims to provide computer science experience as a means for students to pursue higher education in computer science or computer science related concepts like biomedical engineering.

ISB is a magnet option school, with an equitable distribution of students from across the District. About 60% of our students are from minority backgrounds, backgrounds that are under-represented in the computer science and larger engineering industry. Students at ISB earn a valuable IB education, allowing them to gain an edge in future education at a small school that fosters a sense of community, but the nature of our small school limits the number of courses that can be offered at ISB. As a result, most students miss out on a valuable opportunity to be exposed to the programming that students at comprehensive high schools are afforded.
