Habitat Lowell Women Build 2019 : 10 Days, 10 Teams, 10 Women per Day
Women Build is about empowering women to come together to learn construction skills and together build safe, decent, affordable homes in our communities. Women Build brings women together from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell is looking for “Power of 10” women to join a team and work alongside our construction team.  No construction skills required. Safety training & instruction provided.

Women and children make up the majority of people applying for Habitat homes, as they are the most likely to be affected by poor living conditions. Women Build events provide the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.

What is Women Build ?
Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women to make a difference by building homes and communities. The program encourages women volunteers to further the home-building mission of Habitat for Humanity. Since Women Build's official creation in 1998, Women Build volunteers have constructed more that 2,225 homes around the world!

How can I get involved with the Women Build Program?
Habitat Lowell Women Build will be held Tues-Sat Only, May 4-24, 2019.  Women Build is a fundraiser that benefits the home of one of our future homeowner families.
All Women Build participants are asked to raise *$250 to cover the cost of the materials that will be used for the build project. It's easy to achieve and we'll show you how! You can also earn fun prizes at different levels of your fundraising.
