3rd Party Project
A campaign created and promoted by a volunteer on behalf of your organization.
At FundRazr, we deliver 7
Strategic Benefits with our enterprise crowdfunding system.
Our entire platform embodies these 7 concepts and they will always
be a part of your fundraising journey, but for the 3rd Party
Project, we focus on these three:
3rd Party Projects (aka. solo projects) are best used when
an organization has a volunteer or staff member that wants to run
their own project and raise money for the organization. Instead of
issuing a Letter of Subordination to them, they simply apply to
create a campaign using our 3rd Party sign-up option. Once
they have personalized their campaign page by entering their story,
photos and videos, they submit the campaign for approval.
As administrators, you can coach them or update the campaign to match your guidelines before you approve them to raise money.
Once the campaign is running, all contributions are deposited directly to your accounts, and if enabled, tax recipes are automatically distributed by email. Donor data privacy is properly maintained and only visible to authorized members of your team. The volunteer campaign owner can still communicate with and thank their donors.
For this use case, we've decided to 'hide' the master campaign. With this option, we are implying that GAS wants to limit and filter the number of applicants who volunteer to raise on their behalf. By hiding the master campaign, GAS can keep the total aggregated amount raised by all of their volunteers private as well. For an example of a Public Master campaign, see one of our three Multi-tier projects, The Run, Competition: Cafe or We're Expanding.
Take the next step in enhancing your campaign’s curb appeal. By applying any of our various Features, change the overall experience for your team and followers from ‘Good’, to ‘Great’, to downright ‘Awesome’.
.
Keep It All - All funds, once contributions are verified and deposited, are immediately available to your organization.
Secure Funding - All donations are deposited directly to the organization's banking accounts. The 3rd party or volunteer campaign creator has no access to the funds.
Multi-tier - Divide your fundraising project into smaller, more manageable chunks. By enrolling others to manage said chunks, you increase your leverage and achieve bigger results with less work. Using original, tweaked or duplicated content, the sub-campaigns can be run by you, your partners or even volunteers, while all financial controls remain with your organization.
Hidden Master - For some Multi-tier projects, privacy is very important. Hiding the master campaign keeps details of the overall project out of public view. Sub-campaigns are still individually visible and the target of public attention. Recruiting new sub-campaign volunteers is more directly under your control and is accomplished by direct email invitations or sign up links on your website.
Approvals - Automatically approve or choose to require approval for 3rd party volunteers to create a campaign on behalf of your organization.
Volunteer Registration Form - Collect important contact information from your volunteers and have them agree to the terms and conditions for your organization.
Teams - Invite your colleagues, teammates, family, friends and volunteers to help promote a campaign, or at higher levels, manage it.
Endorsements - Team members are encouraged to add a personal video and endorsement message to campaigns they support. These custom messages are shown to the referral traffic they create by sharing with their social networks. This personalization of the campaign message motivates their friends to follow their example and support the cause.
Permissions - Delegate responsibilities and editing permissions for team members, managers and volunteers for your campaigns.
Incentives - Encourage donations by offering limited edition items, original products, coupons/redeemables and pay-it-forward wishlist items on your campaign pages. Examples of incentives include:
-
Perk - A perk is usually a specialty product with a set quantity, ie. a limited edition book, a signed jersey, or a customized blanket.
-
Product - Products are more commonly used as sponsor donated inventory in large quantities, ie. a generic coffee mug, a branded sports bag or a car bumper sticker.
-
Wish - A wish is the concept of paying something forward, ie. paying for a free meal at a local homeless shelter, buying plant seeds for a local garden or buying a vaccination for a pet clinic.
-
Ticket 'Experience' - An event based incentive where a donor can purchase an exclusive experience, ie. VIP tickets to a concert, RSVP a meet and greet with a celebrity or book an appointment with a masseuse at an event.
-
Ticket 'Coupon' - Coupons are a great way to get sponsor's directly rewarding your donors for their contributions, ie. $100 donation receives a 20% discount at the local restaurant or buying bundle 'A' gives a coupon to redeem for a free hat at a sponsored clothing store.
Automatic Tax Receipts - Using your official tax number, create formal receipts and issue them to your donors via email after their donations.
Tax Receipts with Advantage - Through the use of our Incentives feature, we offer an additional version of Tax Receipts . If you choose to offer a Perk, Product and/or Ticket ( Wishes not applicable), your organization costs are factored into the receipt for both your own financial tracking, as well as your donor’s.
Scheduled Deadline - Choose to end your campaign on a specific date. Beneath the funds raised, a countdown will be shown to encourage donations and provide a sense of urgency.

"11"x17" landscape or portrait plaque mount from a selection of my pictures. The product itself costs roughly $35, so there will be a $20 dollar donation to the campaign on top of your picture! My photography is pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. Along the walk, I'll be taking hundreds of pictures, so if you buy this incentive, you can choose from the lot and I'll have the picture professionally mounted for you!"
