The Sad Reality (And the Silver Lining)
Fragile Rock has spent the last few years moping in the dark corners of Austin, Texas. We’ve had our own NPR Tiny Desk Concert and bombed so hard on America’s Got Talent they didn’t even air the footage.
Now, it’s time to take that angst on the road for our 2026 Summer Tour. But to get there, we need more than just feelings—we need a van, gas, and places to crash. And let’s be honest: gas is more emo than ever. It's sad, expensive, and nobody takes "emotional vulnerability" as a security deposit.
The Good News: Because we are a fiscally sponsored project of the Austin Creative Alliance, your support is 100% tax-deductible. You get a tax break; we get a van. It’s the first time being "fragile" has actually paid off.
Why are we doing this to ourselves?
We have a mission to bring our high-energy, deeply felt stage show to new audiences across the country. By supporting this campaign, you’re helping a dedicated crew of artists and several very moody puppets make it to the next stage without falling apart (literally).
Where the money goes (The Logistics of Angst)
Our goal of $6,500 covers the essential, non-glamorous costs of a professional tour:

The "Tour Tank": Fuel for 3,000+ miles of travel.

The Van Rental: A 15-passenger vehicle for our 7 humans and 10 puppets (including insurance).

Crew Per Diems: Modest daily support to keep our 7-person human crew fed and functioning during long hauls.

Safe Storage: Keeping the puppets and gear safe and dry between shows.
The Fine Print (The Legal Stuff)
Fragile Rock is a fiscally sponsored project of the Austin Creative Alliance (ACA), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Fragile Rock are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. When you donate, you will receive an automated tax receipt via email from the ACA.
