About JCI
Jewish Creativity International advances contemporary Jewish culture through the fiscal sponsorship of independent projects in Jewish arts, culture, and media. A nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, JCI receives and administers charitable funds donated to the independent projects under its fiscal sponsorship.
JCI was founded in 1990 by John and Ruth Rauch as the Center for Jewish Culture and Creativity. It has always taken a special interest in the cultural life of Israel as part of its mission of service to creative artists. Fiscal sponsorship is extended to projects that align with its mission of furthering artistic and cultural creativity, as distinct from primarily religious, educational, or social-welfare activities.

What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship is a powerful business model used across many nonprofit sectors. It provides incubation for projects that want to operate with the benefits of nonprofit status, but without the burden of creating and managing their own 501(c)(3). When a project joins a fiscal sponsor, it operates under the sponsor’s established nonprofit umbrella.
Your donations contributed to our established nonprofit on behalf of one of our sponsored projects are tax-deductible and charitable receipts are provided.
