Drago was found alone and hungry roaming the streets of Puerto Rico a few weeks after Hurricane Maria. They reached out to us for help in hopes of finding a better life for him in the U.S. and we are determined to do just that!

DC Dogos is a nationwide rescue dedicated to saving Dogo Argentinos.

We were contacted about a male dogo that needs our help in Puerto Rico.  Some wonderful people have fully vetted and cared for him but know that P.R. is no place for a dogo right now. We promised to help and to do that we need you!

He has to have a reinforced crate due to airline breed restrictions. They usually run almost $1,000 but we found someone to make him one for $350.

The flight and services will be just shy of $600. Then he will need to be fostered and see a vet once he arrives, we estimate this to run $200 or more. Plus we want to send the boarding facility in Puerto Rico a donation for what they have done to help him.

Your donations with us are tax deductible and will go towards his care!  We are also actively looking for a more long term foster for Drago, please apply at www.dcdogos.org/foster if interested.

THANK YOU in advance for helping to get him to the U.S., please share!!

More info about Drago can be found on the link above as well (pics, info, and video).
