The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries provides shelter to over 2,500 individuals daily and serves over 5,000 meals in Detroit and 5 other Michigan counties, ensuring no one goes hungry.
As a faith-based nonprofit organization, our main goal is to address the root causes of homelessness. We meet humanity's basic needs while motivating individuals to rebuild their lives. Our services include housing and shelter, food assistance, substance use disorder treatment, spiritual services, veteran programs, education and training, and community outreach programs.
We are funded through federal grants and donor dollars only to do this work. Without individual donors, we would not be able to serve the men, women, and children who depend on us for shelter and food.
