Join DCS for Walk the Wall!
Delta Christian School has been in partnership with International China Concern (ICC) for the last three years and are blessed to have been able to contribute to the wonderful work they do. We encourage families to support our goal to raise $1000 to support two children in ICC’s care for a year , either by walking in their community or donating online.
 | Due to Covid we will not be hosting a walk at the school, but instead encourage each family to walk and fundraise any time up until October 16th. Please walk in your own community and invite friends to sponsor your child’s walk to raise much-needed funds for ICC by October 16th.Prizes: Each child that raises $100 or more will receive an ICC stuffed Panda Bear! |

Why Walk?
ICC is taking the next step in our journey to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children in China. By participating in Walk the Wall by October 16th you are providing life-changing opportunities for thousands of children and young people, including:
- Expanding ICC’s impact into more orphanages in China
- Reaching hundreds of impoverished families caring for a child with a disability
- Bringing vocational and job opportunities to young people who yearn for a chance to reach their potential
Walk the Wall How To's:
- Choose where you'd like to walk any day up until October 16. Walk wherever you are - at a favourite park, hiking trail, or just in your own neighbourhood! Choose your distance of 3km, 5km or 10km.
- Ask friends and family to join you on the day and also donate to help more children in China with disabilities thrive!
- Share your Fundrazr page on social media. You can also share why you're walking via email or tell a friend over the phone or in person.
- On the day download the Walk the Wall app and be inspired as you walk! Share a pic of you and your group on social media as you walk!
- Help us reach DCS's goal of $1,000! Together you will be transforming lives and bringing love, hope and opportunity to China’s most vulnerable children.
Alternative Donation Method 溫馨提示：
If you wish to collect or make donations via cash or cheque, please use this offline pledge form (link to pledge form here). If you collect cash, please do not send it in the mail but rather write a personal cheque, payable to International China Concern, for the cash total and mail it along with the pledge form to our office at 7B-5707 Sidley St. Burnaby, BC V5J5E6. The App is back!
The unique Walk the Wall app is back! This handy tool puts inspiration at your fingertips and will be your cheerleader as you walk. You can monitor the progress you’re making on your chosen walk, upload photos to your friends and supporters and enjoy some amazing videos and stories along the way.
What does the app do?
As you walk, you can track your progress in real time on our Walk the Wall map that is scaled to the distance of your walk. As you reach each special ICC location, we’ll be there to cheer you on, and the app will invite you to watch brief videos of the amazing children and families that you are walking for. Want to share your walk with your friends and the ICC Walk the Wall community? Take a selfie right inside the app and post it on your social media. Halfway through your walk, you can even send a live video update to all those that have sponsored your walk!
