Conestoga Jazz Band students love music! They love it so much that band during the school day isn't enough so they come after-school to learn how to play jazz. Unfortunately, our band program does not have a piano and our twenty-year-old electric keyboard finally played its last note and stopped working. Fortunately, a working keyboard was donated but it's too big for our students to set up and put away every rehearsal on a portable stand.  We need a dedicated keyboard cart on wheels so our music students can set up the piano safely.

As is the case with most higher-end keyboards, our new keyboard doesn't have built-in speakers. It must be plugged into an external amplifier. Your donation will help us purchase a keyboard amplifier so the piano can be heard in the band room and at concerts.

We are off to our first jazz band competition on March 1st and have another right after spring break so time is of the essence.

Help our students keep the jazz on! Your assistance in getting us a keyboard cart and an amplifier will ensure our music program continues to grow at Conestoga Middle School.
