Teachers and aides in four specialized classrooms are paving the way for 50-60 students with disabilities to dive into job readiness and marketable skills through school-based businesses. 🌟
Doggie Dots is where the magic of inclusivity unfolds, with students mastering tasks like prepping ingredients, following recipes, and packaging dog treats. 🐾
But that's not all! These students are gearing up to launch a student-run coffee cart, sell t-shirts, and even create mugs and hats - equipping them with skills for a successful future. ☕👕

Founded in 1988, the Beaverton Education Foundation raises money to provide hands-on innovative academic enrichment and advancement programs & projects that go beyond normal school funding at all Beaverton public schools and is a 501(c)(3) community-based nonprofit organization. BEF mobilizes community resources to fund innovative classroom projects, summer and after-school programs.
In the event that this project does not reach its goal or exceeds its goal, BEF may apply the funds received to another similar project.
