Stooby is a very special cat who arrived as a feral kitten and has grown into a handsome, sweet boy. Today the vet discovered a mass in his tummy. My father foot the $387 diagnostic bill but there will likely be surgery involved.

Hi! My name is Robin and the handsome little guy in the picture is my cat Stooby. Stooby and I have a pretty incredible history together. He arrived in my back yard one day when he was just a feral kitten who was terrified of being touched and shied away when anyone came too close. He was named Boots because of his pristine white paws. One day, I spelled his name backwards and came up with Stoob, and it stuck. So began my journey, spending hours at a time with him in the garage over the winters, coaxing him to me and rewarding him with treats. Eleven years later, he is a trusting, loving cat who enjoys tuna, catnip, tummy rubs, off leash walks, and giving kisses and bumps.

Three days ago, Stooby stopped eating and became very lethargic. Today I took him to the vet, who discovered a mass in his tummy. A series of tests has been performed and we are waiting on the test results. We've already spent $387 on tests and it's almost certain that Stooby will need additional vet visits and possible surgery. I am on income support and have no additional resources.

Any contributions you can make towards Stooby's vet bills would be appreciated, and any funds raised over and above his vet bills will be donated to the Edmonton Humane Society.

Thank you so much for your help, and if you could share this with others, it would mean the world to Stooby and I.
