Meet Xander of Turkey~

"Hi, My name is Xander and to be honest with you all, I am not sure who is rescuing who? I was bornsomewhere around the June 2020 time frame and I had a rough childhood. I lived underneath trailers and had to rummage through trash in order to eat my whole life. Some days I didn't eat and it wasn't until this guy named Mike came around my whole world changed. You see, I was afraid of humans before but this guy made me feel special. Not only did he brst start to give me food to help me grow, but he ordered medicine for me because my eyes were constantly being crusted over with what they call an infection. After I was able to get better and able to see good, he kept on using his soothing voice to talk to me about his problems and I grew closer and closer with him.You see, after finding out about Mike, I soon was his crutch while he was deployed here to my home. Hetold me that his wife left him shortly before coming out here and that he grew close to me because his other fur babies back home literally saved his life in April. He nearly committed suicide and what prevented him was his dog and his cat putting their heads in his lap and his cats purring when he was sitting on his shoulder. I am thankful for hopefully my soon to be brothers because I wouldn't have this guy taking care of me.During what you Americans call the "holidays" I was never cuddled so much in all my life! Mr. Mike kept crying on me and saying how much he missed his wife and daughter. I hope to never experience that pain in my life. I cuddled up on him and purred to show him how much I love him and how grateful I am for having him in my life! He kept crying and crying and I just sat there and listened to him. I am thankful to help out my new friend when he was at his lowest points! In repayment he got me a toy mouse for this thing called "Christmas" which is the best thing in life for me! I am thankful and play with it every day!!I really hope that I am able to follow on with Mike. I hear how I dont have to live outside anymore, andplus I will have 2 brothers! Something called a dog is what I am going to need to learn how to live with. Mike tells me he is a giant teddy bear German Shepherd and he loves to cuddle and give kisses to my future big brother Lundy. Lundy, Ruger and I are going to be a family!!As I sit here writing out this form, I am sitting on Mike's lap with my mouse in my mouth purring andthanking how warm his cuddles are. I am so thankful to have this man try and get me out of here so I don't have to worry about the pack of dogs that live on the iight line and also the loud noises when the jets are going up and down from the air. "
