The story of the 169th N.Y. has never been fully told -- Until now.

Drawing from one of the largest regimental archives ever assembled, the author presents a new kind of regimental history -- richly detailed and lavishly illustrated -- from the perspective of those who were there.

What I Need & What You Get

This book is a work in progress. Up to this point I have published a "prototype" version of the book covering events from the organization of the regiment in 1862 up to and through the Bermuda Hundred Campaign, Va., which took place in May of 1864. These chapters are hosted by the website of the New York State Military Museum in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and may be found at the following link:

Contributions from those interested in history will help me continue my research on individual soldiers from the 169th N.Y. and chronicle the second half of the history of the regiment.

Can you help?
