Auburn is a very friendly min pin mix that has hydrocephalus, or a build up of fluid in her brain. This causes her to be a little slow and partially blind. This condition also means that Auburn cannot be housebroken, basically making it impossible for her to find a traditional home and family that wants to adopt her. On top of that, Auburn also has a luxating patella (or a trick knee that can move out of place) and is on occasional medication for a disc in her back. All of this means she needs a very special home that is equipped to care for her long term!

Auburn is loving life at the farm! She  is a sweet, happy, loving little girl who hasn’t let life’s setbacks slow her down! She has settled into her place on the farm quickly and effortlessly, winning over everyone here - even the other dogs. One of the biggest dogs here took one look at Auburn and decided she needed a buddy. And now, wherever Auburn goes, Cheyenne goes, too. They love to play and run together, and also curl up next to each other to nap inside. Everywhere Auburn goes, she does with her head held high, and a prance in her step. She may have a laundry list of medical issues, but that doesn’t stop her from doing running, playing, eating, and giving kisses with every ounce of enthusiasm she has!

Monthly sponsors will provide a steady stream of funds that ensures Auburn can live the rest of her days happy and healthy here at the farm. Funds will go directly to her care for food, medical treatments, safe housing, and the love and care of our wonderful staff.

Monthly sponsors will receive an update every month with a picture to show how you made it possible to keep Auburn happy and healthy at the farm.
