A multi-racial, cross-state coalition of groups are organizing to send a message to the Trump campaign that hate is not welcome in Wisconsin as he visits before the April 5th primary. We need funds for supplies and legal expenses related to the protests.

Thanks to everyone who has donated! Your support is greatly appreciated.

Protestors were arrested on Monday at the Holiday Inn Express in
Janesville, WI, demanding that the hotel cancel Donald Trump's planned town
hall today, March 29th. It cost $3300 to bail them out, and we also need funds to
support the ongoing legal expenses of these committed folks who have
taken a stand against hate in our state.

Other expenses include an $850 bus rental to provide transportation from Madison to the actions in Janesville, and various supplies and support (food, water, signs, banners, etc.).

Check out these videos of the actions in Janesville and Milwaukee.

"We are a multiracial group of people organizing in connection with the Black Lives Matter, Immigrant Justice, Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), and Queer Justice movements. We value free speech. And we cannot allow hate and violence to go unchecked. We are protesting because we do not want Trump’s hate in our state. We cannot remain silent."
