We are trying to build an intermediate flight cage for the rehabilitation of the Birds of Prey that have been injured or orphaned. We have taken in 3 Bald Eagles in the last 10 months and countless other Birds of Prey that need flight rehab. The closest flight cage to our location is 160 miles to the west or 285 miles to the northeast. It is important to have a facility with the least amount of travel due to the stress that travel causes a Bird of Prey. Stress for these birds can be fatal. We are a non-profit wildlife rescue that rescues sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife that are indigenous to Mississippi. We are state and federally permitted. Last year we cared for almost 2000 animals. This year to date we've cared for over 1000, with April being the busiest taking in 485 animals. We also educate at local schools. Last year we completed 243 programs teaching about the dangers and laws for wildlife. This structure will be open to all veterinarians and rehabbers in our area.  These birds need your help thank you for your donation and consideration. There will be a plaque in honor of the person or company who makes the largest contribution.
