For eight years, Memphis Rox has committed to fostering community for Memphians of all ages through climbing, wrap-around services, and mentorship.
Youth and families in Memphis face growing uncertainty—from school closures to the presence of I.C.E, to threats to our air and water.
Access to health, safe spaces, stability, and joy for Memphis children and families has never been more urgent.
Memphis Rox keeps our doors open to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. Our mission continues only with the support of our members, Memphians, and the broader climbing community.

About Memphis Rox
Opened in March 2018, Memphis Rox Climbing + Community is a pay-what-you-can climbing and community center in Soulsville, South Memphis - a community in Memphis that has been historically underserved. Our mission is to empower youth and their support structures by providing a safe and inclusive space for recreation, exercise, outdoor adventures, job opportunities, job training, and essential resources.
We offer a remarkable 32,000 square feet of indoor climbing, a 5,000 square-foot fitness area as well as fitness & yoga classes, a youth climbing team, and a juice bar serving affordable and healthy meals. Our campus also houses a low-cost sundry store, an educational food garden, and a free after-school program.
