It has been a hard week and our hearts are still broken after losing Endora and Emerson, but our work must go on.  A local shelter reached out asking for help for a sweet boy who had suffered, what had to be a horrifically painful condition.  He was a bit bigger than we usually take, but we needed a win, he needed a chance, and so Bruiser came to DRSF.

Looking at his sweet smile and kind eyes you almost don't see the red speck of something under his left eye, but that little red something is the result of an abscessed tooth that went untreated for so long, the pressure literally blew through his cheek.

This sweet boy has to be in so much pain, but as he sat in one of the treatment rooms at Pet Medical Center Boca, he was nothing but smiles.  

We don't deserve dogs. 

Bruiser is under the care of Dr. Hughes and Dr. Roof at Pet Medical Center Boca and is on some good pain meds and antibiotics to get him ready to have a proper dental to take care of whatever is going on with one really angry tooth and make sure the hole that it blew in his face heals up nicely.

He is a big boy with a big tooth problem and would not have made it out of the shelter alive without rescue.  So many have given so much over the last week and we are back again to ask your support to give a 2nd chance.
