Aarti Sharma hasn't added a story.
As a happy and bright 10 year old boy, Aryan lives with his mother,
father and younger sister in India. He is always been very loving and
affectionate to everybody he meets.
Aryan was diagnosed in
December 2015, at the age of 10, with a rare called primary mixed germ
cell tumour with germinoma and yolk sac in pineal area of the brain.
Following this diagnosis almost 3 years ago he has undergone different
treatments to eliminate the cancer. In that same month, following the
diagnosis, Aryan underwent brain surgery to remove the tumour. This
was followed with a series of chemotherapy and radiation therapy in
the months after the surgery.
Treating doctors were optimistic
that the tumour had been removed and were quite confident in the
chances of recovery.
Unfortunately, that hope was short lived
when the tumour came back more aggressively by the end of December
2016. Aryan underwent a combination of strong chemotherapy, stem cell
therapy and surgery to try and combat the cancer. Gamma Knife surgery
was performed in late 2017 with doctors once again optimistic for the
outcome.
In March 2018, the brain tumour came back much more
aggressively which has also extended to the spine. Aryan underwent
immunotherapy in March which has unfortunately not helped at
all.
Aryan’s family have spent a lot of time, money and effort to
get their now 13 year old son the help he needs to fight off this rare
and aggressively cancer. They have found a oncologist in the United
Stated of America who is willing to treat and is optimistic about
it.
As the family have spent all of their savings on previous
treatments, their family needs help to raise $500.000 US by end of
June so that Aryan can have the treatment for his tumour. Time is
running out to raise the money needed to have this treatment
performed.
This is a last chance to help this strong willed boy
fight off this cancer and give him the life he deserves to live.
Please donate now. No donation is too small and the family and Aryan appreciate your support. In case if Aryan is not fortunate enough to use collected money , then all money will go towards helping somebody else in a similar situation.
