This is Prism (Holly Hume) and I'm super excited to be the Fundraising Org this year! How great was it not to have the live auction at camp for the last 2 years!? August is coming, scholarships are needed and it's time to kick up the momentum.
If we don't raise $3500 through the Fundrazr or other means before camp starts, the auction will rise from the dead.
Pledges count!! Donating through the site is just one way. You can also send money to Bonnie at info@bcwitchcamp.ca earmarked for the scholarship fund, or send a pledge to Bonnie that you will bring $xxx to camp to hand over at camp. We will add it here as an offline donation and make the total rise.
So, let's donate our services or creations, or pledge our pennies to help each other have a stress free Talent night.

The BCWC scholarship fund allows people to come to camp who might not otherwise be able to make it. It is a needs based, first come, first served system of financial help. Some people need a small amount to reduce the registration fee, some need more. We do everything we can to make camp affordable and accessible.

Every year at camp we raise thousands of dollars for the next year's fund. For the second year in a row, we are trying something different - raising thousands before we get there! The accounting will be available to all. Every cent raised goes directly to the fund, aside from the fees for using this helpful site. This will also help us support our vendors during camp.

What is Witchcamp?

British Columbia Witchcamp (BCWC) is a community of like-minded people who come together each year for one week to celebrate, learn, teach, and be together as community. We celebrate the earth as sacred. We honour the wild and work together to unify spirit and politics. BCWC is one of many witchcamps following the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft. We will be celebrating out 29th year in 2016 at Evans Lake, British Columbia.

Please donate. Check out the different perks (donations/things for sale) and sign up. Donate once, twice, three times. Everything we take in we keep, we don't have to make the goal amount to keep the money. Donating is easy, just click on the perk you want and follow the steps.

Please help spread the word. Share, share, share! We will be able to add new perks as these ones are claimed. If you have something to contribute or have any questions please email gnomeprincess@hotmail.com

If you would like to make a donation of a "perk", what was popular last year was: items between $20-$60 in value, top sellers were things like labrinth knitted socks and garlic! If you have a larger item, perhaps we could seperate it into smaller individual items? Please send an email to submit your perk (item to donate for sale) to me, Prism at gnomeprincess@hotmail.com with the approx $ value of the item or service, any relevant background info, a photo of the item, and if the item will be delivered in person at camp, or mail, etc.

Thanks to the many people who contributed perks and time to make this happen!

$75 CAD
Earth Mother Necklace by Dawn Isidora
  • 0 claimed
The strand is made of Green Grossular Garnet (often called African Jade) and Turquoise with glass seed bead spacers and sterling silver clasp. The pendant is a handmade clay image of the Woman (or Venus) of Willendorf. (The‘Venus' of Willendorf was uncovered in Austria early last century and dates back to 2800 - 2500 BCE and is thought to represent an ancient Mother Goddess. The pendant was made by a Oregon artist who prefers her name not be attached to her work, but gives her permission and blessings for them to be used in this way.

I created this in sacred space with our camp intention: “In slow time and deep earth we dance with ancestors near and far as we learn to decolonize and reweave cultures of compassion and justice.”

In addition, because of the energies of the particular stones used, this necklace carries a vibration of ancient healing modalities, quiet strength and clarity of purpose. These qualities will be best experienced if the necklace is worn against the skin.
