The developer (Moss Family) is halfway to the ultimate buildout of a 48 acre storage facility with thousands of units. The Developer is also a member of the Placer county board of supervisor and taking advantage of Placer County. The county did not do their job by either, lost documents and having new  supervisors/decisions makers; making it easier for this business to expand.  In simple terms the developer is claiming vested rights and continue his commercial development in a residential zone.  While the county just looks the other way...

The fact that proper access to the facility was designed and partially built in the form of a major arterial road to direct traffic to Old Auburn Blvd is now also lost. The initial concept of open space beside the residential neighborhoods has been lost. Not an acre of open space will remain and a couple thousand storage units serving commercial vendors from three counties will be accessed through a narrow neighborhood street of Parkford Circle.  They are also considering other access points, through Village Circle.  So we as a neighborhood are trying to stop this illlegal expansion.
