Help Webbsprout community grow!
We are setting up this fundraiser to help our friend Briane Jennifer Webb grow her business WebbSprout Learning Programs. For those who don’t know her story, WebbSprout is a home-grown, neurodiversity-affirming education program that she’s built from the ground up — a space where kids and families who don’t fit into traditional systems can finally feel seen, supported, and safe.
Briane spent many years in Korea teaching, and after coming home she felt there was a lack of support and advocacy for those who fall outside the “educational norm”. She saw these children were falling through the cracks and wanted to help build a learning program that could teach them to self advocate, build confidence, and become a productive member in the community.
With the stresses and expenses of building a new business and not having financial support from any organizations to help build/start her program, she has been contributing all her own resources. Briane recently applied for a competitive grant through The EDP Business Challenge; she gives her live pitch on October 20th as part of the finale for this process.
We have put this page together with the hope of helping to ease some of the financial burdens. We invite you to donate -whether small or large, named or anonymous - all funds will be used to support Briane's efforts toward expanding her parent workshops, advocacy projects, outreach programs, and resources used to help shift educational paradigms here in Saskatchewan.
