6 Years running

On May 12, 2010, my mother and I went to the local prison. The local Humane Society ran a program with the prison to help the inmates learn to take care of others and also to train the dogs. There was a Beagle, a boy, and a Walker Hound, a girl. I was undecided until I turned around to look at the Walker Hound and found her sitting on my mother's feet. She had decided for me. I named her Marley.

We brought her home and she has been a wonderful companion for me and my parents. She is the sweetest and one of the smartest dogs I have ever known.
I don't know what the first 3 years of her life was like, I only know that the last 4 years she has brought an incredible light and joy to my life and the life of my family.

I want her to live a long life, cancer free for as long as possible. I want to give her that chance.

Financially, I cannot afford the chemotherapy. It is frustrating, and disheartening, to know there is something that may let Marley have that long life, but I can't afford it.

Any donation is appreciated. Thank you for reading and if you can donate, thank you. If you can't, please send prayers, vibes and happy, healthy thoughts.
