We have suspected it for quite some time, and now it is official.  Miami Dade County is filled with paralyzed dogs dragging themselves through the streets and parking lots and Zane is one of those dogs...

Zale had been seen dragging himself around for a few days in parking lot in Coral Gables and a kind Samaritan could not take seeing him in this condition any longer and reached out for help.

It doesn't take long on social media for DRSF to be tagged on anything "long and low" and so Zale came to be known to us to need rescue or he was headed to MDAS.

We made arrangements to get him to SEVN, thinking we were dealing with ANOTHER IVDD case, and found Zale to be a young boy, or only 3 of 4 years old.  We learned that the only thing worse than IVDD Is something that presents like IVDD but isn't, as after an MRI, CT Scan, spinal tap, and infectious disease titers Zale was found to have inflammation around his spinal cord, a huge spleen, some motor function and is believed to be suffering something inflammatory vs. IVDD.

We are not sure if we are going to be able to help Zale, but we know that he could not be in better hands than with Dr. Wong and the team at SEVN and we are back, again, to ask your support to give a 2nd chance where there was not one before.

You have all given us so much this week, but the dogs keep coming, and we keep you have another urgent need in you this week to make another doxie dream come true?
