Jason Fine, CrossFit affiliate owner and Games athlete, past away after a year-long battle with Melanoma. Jason is survived by his wife, Erin. Because Jason's battle spanned two calendar years, his medical deductible and other costs were exorbitant.

Jason Fine, a CrossFit affiliate owner, Games athlete, coach, husband, friend and inspiration to many succommed to Melanoma Cancer on March 20th, after a courageous battle. Jason was an amazing man who dedicated his life to doing all he could to help others be the best they could be. So many will live a fuller and more amazing life because of their time with Coach Jason "J."

J participated in the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games and finished 16th in the world in the 40-44 year old bracket. In 2014, Jason finished 33rd in the world in the CrossFit Open trials, later discovering that he did so with a lethal brain tumor.

Jason is survived by his wife, Erin, an equally courageous woman who did everything this past year to support her husband and give him every opportunity to win hit fight. Unfortunately, Erin is now left with some residual medical costs not covered by Jason's insurance. We are asking for your help. Please give what you can. Whatever amount that is raised beyond the total medical costs will be donated to support Melanoma research.

Jason left us with one message... "Be Better, Today." Honor him by pursuing it. We greatly appreciate your help. You can read more about Jason and his battle within his blog at:
