Transition Framingham is hosting our 14th annual Framingham Vegetable Gardens Tour on Saturday, August 23rd from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Join us for a FREE tour of several home and community gardens to get inspiration, ideas, and advice from local gardeners.

Donations are greatly appreciated but not required to attend the tour.  All donations will support the work of Transition Framingham and the Framingham Community Gardens Working Group. A grassroots environmental organization that has been active since 2012, Transition Framingham's mission is to help Framingham work towards a socially just transition away from fossil fuel dependence to local resilience and sustainability. The Framingham Community Gardens Working Group, a project of Transition Framingham, aims to increase edible gardening opportunities within the Framingham community.

We are currently working with the City of Framingham to implement improvements to the Pratt Street Community Garden in south Framingham, through a grant from the Community Preservation Committee. Our team is also pursuing new opportunities to support vegetable gardening in Framingham. 

Funds raised from the Garden Tour will help us to continue to provide more opportunities for people to grow food in Framingham.
