Believe it or not 27% of Veterans do not qualify for any benefits and many Veterans do not seek out help because of stigma.  This has cause the Veteran Suicide rate to hit an ALL time high of 42 a day.  

We develop events; participate in community events in order to stay visible and family events provides us to reach fellow Veterans that at risk.   Veterans generally only talk about these issue with other Veterans.  These events allows for the real conversations to be had within these events that provide a major impact for our veteran community. Being in a safer space, surrounded by like-minded individuals and the intent to help spark the fires that create change to happen through human contact is what Veterans Connected has been able to do. People that are hurting or in need have a lot to say but typically keep it to themselves. Veterans Connected provides a judgment-free community during these events, such as the Ruck to Live, which allows them the opportunity to open up, bring down their walls and be vulnerable. 

We then in turn help remove the stressors from paying bills, repairs or whatever else may assist in reducing their stress, so we can then get them real help about their military trauma.  

We have have numerous Veterans and Veteran family members who have told us how our efforts have given them a reason to keep fighting and they are getting help.  There is no price we won't pay to help save a life and you can help families save their loved ones.  These men and women have given so much and they can't un-see, un-hear or un-smell their experiences, but your donation can help us help them.  You have the ability to help us save lives, Thank You for your support
