The West York Football Boosters is launching our "Get to Camp" fundraising campaign throughout the next several months. Our goal is to get individuals, businesses, alumni, families of past players, and anyone else passionate about the student-athletes at West York to donate. Each donation will move us to our goal. High school football, is the ultimate teacher of life. It teaches lessons that often high school struggles to teach. Overcoming adversity, teamwork, commitment, courage, sacrifice, and preparation. There is no other sport where you prepare more than you play. You train from December through August spending countless hours in the weight room, attending position meetings & drill work, speed training, and learning about leadership. During all of this training, you don’t even play a game but you learn. You learn how to commit to something bigger than yourself and sacrificing what you want at the moment for what you want most. You learn how to count on the person next to you by persevering through tough workouts together. Then after all of that, you only get 10 guaranteed games. Football is more than just teaching blocking, tackling, throwing, and catching. It teaches life.
Your generous donation will allow us to provide the very best high school football experience possible. Donations will go towards our goal of raising funds for our team to attend team camp together at Millersville University. Specifically designed as a non-contact camp for our high school football team and coaching staff, this camp offers complete flexibility and allows our coaching staffs a unique opportunity to install our offense and defense.
