TOASTCO is a non-profit organization and multi-ethnic theater company focused on promoting the stories of people of color in theater and performance arts.
We aim to infuse the community with productions that enhance our understanding of the vast array of diverse cultures, their experiences, and the unique cultural perspectives of underrepresented, underserved, communities of color.
Established in January 2015, receiving non-profit and federal tax-exempt status July 2015, the founding board members, a multi-ethnic group of thespians, directors, business people and theater-goers, began to plan a season of shows that would accomplish just that. With careful selection, much reading and healthy deliberation, the Board agreed upon a selection of plays we believe will inspire, educate, and reunite humanity across many cultural boundaries.
We hope to join the thriving Stockton theater community and share many authentic cultural experiences in the years to come!

January 2016 - "Across the Border con Camacho" - written by Manuel Camacho, Spanish Professor for San Joaquin Delta College and writer for Joaquin Magazine of San Joaquin Valley, California. Inspired by true events...Through comedy, we explore the tragedy that exists in the quest to cross political borders...
