We are a small operative assault team currently working with the 3AC 60th Mechanized Infantry. We are proving the concept of our search and destroy missions and training local troops to work alongside our teams. Initially, we planned to start training after the season, but due to previous mission success, we have already begun training during our rest time. Soon we have our first mission with another team alongside ours, obviously mission is also bigger so we need to be prepared. After our small setback of having a blendage collapse on us and our gear has put us into a slump

Equipment Situation

Unfortunately, the army promised to provide the necessary equipment but fell far short. We don’t need vehicles or luxury—we need proper kit.

Most of the gear issued isn’t suitable for assault jobs, so we are running our own kit. However, due to a recent FPV strike on our positions, much of our kit was left buried under rubble. We promise not to let that happen again ;)

Priority List

1. Handheld Thermal Device

It is a lifesaver though it cannot be attached to a rifle without adapters and manually holding it means lowering the rifle. The best but expensive solution for having a thermal that i can manipulate between handheld, helmet mounted and rifle mounted is:

• PFN640 Thermal monocular – €3,750
• Helmet mount – €400
• Quick Detach Clamp – €70

If funded, I’ll personally invest to get extra attachments for mounting it on my rifle. This will require replacing some current attachments.

Why this and not other thermal like  Rattler V2 (€1,000)?
The Rattler is affordable, but the other thermal is specifically needed by me as the team marksman and patrol leader. I require both night vision and thermal while moving, which is impossible aiming a rifle. Additionally, Rattler is not compatible with all the other attachments I need. (Optics)

Total cost:

• Helmet thermal alone: €4,195
• All attachments: + €1,826 = €6,021
• With Night Vision: + €2,500 = €8,521

Even funding just the barebones thermal will be a great start. Additional mounting attachments will be self-funded progressively.

2. Gas Masks

The invaders use battle gases. Issued gas masks are old, slow to put on, and hinder weapon handling. We need 5 gas masks to survive smoke or chemical threats.

• Approximate price: €200 per mask
• Currently require 3 masks urgently

3. Night Vision Devices

We currently have only one NVG, so it’s not the highest priority. However, NVGs are crucial to spot enemy drone-deployed mines and traps. I as a pointman need a specialized monocular NVG that I can wear while having the thermal on the other eye. Cheaper ones are as needed but for my setup it has to be the one stated above

4. Laptop/Tablet

If you have an old, usable laptop, you can send it to us. We are not provided with one but receive intelligence that requires careful analysis.

Lost Items from Last Mission

We need to recover important lost gear including battle belts, pouches, a single boot (funny story which donors can hear if fundraising is successful), ear protection, and a helmet-mounted binocular night vision device.

What If We Don’t Reach the Thermal Goal?

If we can't reach a minimum of 4k for just the thermal, we will skip mission-specific items and focus funds on recovering lost gear. It may take a long time to self-fund mission gear.

Donor Rewards

I will provide YouTube content for donors every 1-2 months with pictures, training footage, etc. Top donors will receive signed flags and personal Polaroid photos of the team.

How to Donate

Three ways to donate:

1. Directly via Fundrazr
   Unfortunately, this money goes straight to us, but I will provide receipts to all donors. If we don’t reach our goals, we will prioritize items on the list, such as gas masks. However, without getting the thermal equipment, gas masks become a lower priority unless we opt for cheaper thermals like the Rattler V2, which is still crucial.
2. Email me to donate a specific item
   You can ask to donate lost gear or other Night Vision devices, which we would appreciate if we can’t get the thermals we need.

1. Official requisition donation
   For any specific item, we can write an official requisition form so the donation goes to the unit, not us personally. Unit commanders will ensure the gear reaches us. Please note that only item donations can be done like this. Not funds. This donation is tax-deductible.
