Gideon was surrendered recently by a man who'd inherited him from his father. It appears Gideon self-rescued — in rough condition, wandering up to the father and allowing himself to be taken inside. Gideon is one of many birds this year who were orphaned when their person died. He is at least 6 years old and came to us with a severely overgrown beak. He is a gentle spirit who melts everyone's heart.
