Renaissance Classical Christian Academy is in need of individuals to come along side the school and help parents with multiple children who are struggling to pay tuition. Our vision is that NO family be denied admittance due to finances.

Dear Scholarship Sponsor,

Estimates on the loss of children from Christian homes to secularism vary widely, but nearly everyone agrees that we are loosing the next generation. So, why are there so few youth with a Biblical worldview when nearly fifteen percent of Christian children attend Christian private schools? The only possible answer is that very few private schools teach from or give students a Biblical viewpoint.

How is the Classical Christian approach a better method of teaching Christian truths?

  • A Biblical worldview requires a strong foundation steeped in western thought, philosophy, history, and literature. While knowledge of scripture is essential, it is not enough; a classical approach gives a breadth of knowledge and a level of reasoning sorely lacking in our society today.
  • To effectively teach a worldview, the viewpoint must remain constant. Many schools, in order not to offend, take no clear stand if differing viewpoints are discussed. Renaissance does defer to the parents on points of faith and encourages parents to instruct their children; but the overarching worldview that ties all subjects together is definitively Protestant or Reformed.
  • Students are forced to think through and defend their views on faith, truth, and morality. Classically trained students know what they believe and more importantly, why they believe it.

Another major impediment to the stability and growth of Christianity in our children is economic. Large or average income families have few choices. Most private schools cater to the wealthier families, even with State Voucher; these schools are too expensive for many parents. These parents are forced to either:

  • Send their children to a public or charter school that are required by law to indoctrinate from a politically correct worldview.
  • Homeschool, if one parent is not working.

One of our stated objectives is to make a private education affordable to middle income families without compromising on academics. Our tuition is a modest $4,100 and our national test average places our student scores in the top third of the nation. To accomplish these goals we have minimized on extracurricular activities and facilities.

What I am asking you to do is to come along side the school and help parents with multiple children or assist parents that cannot pay the current tuition. Currently the school is struggling to subsidize several students. Our vision is that NO family be denied admittance due to finances.

Thank you for your consideration!
