PLEASE HELP US TO HELP DOGS WAITING FOR MEDICAL CARE!

Furry Friends Foster and Rescue Inc is a rescue that does not pass dogs by, just because they need medical care of training.  Our mission as a rescue is to help the dogs who need us the most.  In order to fulfill that mission, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

A day does not end without our being asked to take on a dog with medical issues - because people understand that we are one of the few reputable rescues willing and equipped to do that. We absolutely HATE having to say no - so PLEASE help us to say yes more often!

Our medical fund is depleted and it must be replenished before we are able to take on any dogs needing more than the usual veterinary care, which consists of intake exam, tests for heartworm, tick-borne illnesses and parasites, and vaccinations.  If any of the tests have a positive result, we must have the capacity to treat the illness - and as a reputable rescue we cannot take on more animals until we care for the ones already in our rescue!

In the past year, we have provided life-saving heart surgery for one dog at a cost of approximately $5,000, treated multiple dogs for heartworm, had surgery performed on several dogs needing eye surgery, others needing hernia repair, treated one dog for an ongoing infection in an anal glad the cost of which alone has been over $2,300, had surgery for cherry eye performed on several dogs ... and the list goes on. 

So please join with us in this mission of providing medical treatment that in many cases is literally life-saving, and in others is necessary for the dog to live a healthy, happy, pain-free life!

As a non-profit organization, we depend upon donations from animal lovers and supporters to allow us to do what we do. 

And so we are asking the Facebook community to join with us in our mission, to make it possible for us - together! - to SAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED!

None of us can do this alone - joining together, we can make all of the difference in the lives of these deserving dogs!
