On February 21, Brad McFadden passed away after a 5 year battle with stomach cancer.  Brad was a fiercely determined fighter who, in partnership with his wife, Heather, faced the challenges of his illness with courage and strength.  While Brad endured 5 surgeries, 4 rounds of chemo and 1 round of radiation, Heather and Brad made a pact to pursue the things that they are passionate about. They traveled, continued to enjoy live music and lots of hockey games, and took the time to really watch their kids learn, grow and become.

When Brad was diagnosed, Heather dove headfirst into her role as mother, wife, breadwinner, and caretaker.  She has balanced each aspect with grace and endless kindness for everyone; rarely letting on that she was engaged in the biggest struggle of her life.  She managed to maintain normalcy throughout the abnormal.

As Brad and Heather's friends, family and community, we'd like to offer our support and ask you to join us. We would also like to raise $25,000 to provide Heather, Maddie and Fortune with grief therapy over the next year.  The $25,000 will cover the cost of individual sessions for each family member with a therapist they currently have a relationship with.

Please help us give back to the McFaddens; any amount helps.
