We are a charity organization helping children in rural kenya to get education,food,and healthcare.

Far too many children in the rural areas and slums of Kenya face difficult challenges that others take for granted.  Due to poverty or neglectful parents ,many children lack basic opportunities such as education, food, and healthcare.without these resource,many children face a dark future.

Agape Academy in an organization seeking to help such vulnerable children overcome these challenges.  Our mission is to rescue children from insecure environments of rural Kenya  by giving them short term shelter, responding to their physical,Food, medical, psychological, educational, and spiritual needs.  Thereafter, we re-integrate children to a secure environment with a suitable adult caregiver within a family set up after a comprehensive assessment.

Our original semi-permanent construction is no longer viable as we try to provide the best possible environment for our children.  The classrooms are far too cold during the cold season, and far too hot during the hot season, leading to student discomfort and weakness, especially as they try to avoid illnesses such as cold, flu, and malaria.  The current toilets are not sufficient for the 156 children we are currently serving.  Additionally, the temporary metal construction becomes extremely loud during wind and rain; so loud, in fact, that the teachers are sometimes unable to teach effectively.

For this reason, we are now in the process of constructing permanent buildings for our school.  The project consists of two phases, and we have already begun the first.  We have started to build 3 classrooms, new toilets, and new kitchen.  We have started this construction with the support of amazing people like you.

In order to continue our first phase of construction, and move to our second phase, we need even more financial support from generous people around the world.  Any donation will help and would be greatly appreciated.
