We were tagged in a video from MDAS showing a pretty doxie girl whose back legs appeared to be frozen stiff in place.  As with any dog who is "less than perfect" the girl we have named Holland stood no chance, whatsoever of making it out of the shelter alive.  We were her only chance...

Our DRSF Intake team hit the road to get her and Holland made her way to Dr. Bruce's Animal Hospital where she was checked out for her curious condition. 

The working diagnosis is "bilateral quad constractures" or put in significantly less medical terms "she came from the factory that way".  We have no idea how she has lived her life thus far and/or how Holland could have been a "stray" on the streets, but regardless of her past, she is safe with us and will be seeing Dr. Moore at Broward Veterinary Specialists and Shari at Pup Rehabilitation to see what we can do to get those legs unfrozen and moving again!

We were Holland's only hope and now YOU, our DRSF community are our hope to cover Holland's care so that we can be there not only for her, but for the next little one we know is right around the corner.
