Colum came to this rescue with a limp. The shelter begged us to take him and assured us his limp was fine. After an x-ray, we discovered that Colum has actually broken the head off his femur. Ouch. He needs an FHO, which costs $1400. Double ouch!!

Our lovely Colum came into Big and Small Rescue Society with a limp. We were told by the shelter that he had an 'injury' at the time of impound, but it was fine now. When we x-rayed Colum upon entering our rescue, our vets noticed a femur head (the tip of his hind leg) that was broken and stuck in his hip socket. Our vet surgeons want to remove the femur head. It will cost $1400 + tax to fix Colum. Please help our rescue help Colum.
