Jackie and Rachel will be running Ipswich Half Marathon to raise funds for Bryn's Helping Hand.

Hi, I'm Rachel, 34 years old, mum to a gorgeous 3 year old girl and a teacher of year 2. This year my friend Jackie and I are running Ipswich half marathon to raise money for Bryn's Helping Hand, a charity set up in memory of my friend's son, Bryn, who was born with Trisomy 18. The charity aims to support parents of babies with life limiting and life threatening conditions, increase kangaroo care in local hospitals and raise awareness of Trisomy 18. Although Bryn's Helping Handis a relatively new charity there have already been some very successful fundraising events - these have included a Pregnancy, Birth and Baby Fair as well as Bryn's dad shaving off his long hair an dbeard! I feel honoured to have known Bryn and very proud to be running this race in his memory. Please sponsor us, any amount you can, And come and cheer for us on the day! Thank you.

Jackie writes: Short, Irish and love an adventure, not sure how else to describe myself. I am 33 years old and have known Steve and Rosie fr over 10 years. This running malarkey is all nw to me so really enjoying the challenge. Thanks to Rachel's patience I'm slowly getting better and will hopefully get across teh finish line in a respectful time. This is a great cause and I'm very proud to be involved so dig deep in your pockets folks.

Come on Team Bryn!
