My name is Michelle Brantley- Davidson. My partner is Cyra Davidson. We are two beautiful, strong, loving women in love. To society, we are heading down a dangerous route. African American Lesbians that's a handful.. to some. To others; we are goals. Ever since I was 5, I have always been attracted to girls. I knew I could never come out.*or so I thought* I was raised in a strict Christian household... my father even threatened my mother that if she left him "the girls would be lesbians" Be careful what you wish for [insert Glitter here] I always dreamed & imagined me being with the woman I am happily taken by. Cyra is the partner I have prayed many nights for, She is my Moon and Stars. We met in a Church, At work..helping elderly. If you think Love like this is wrong.. I don't know any other bigger sign from the Universe other than that.

Happiest day of my life. We are now officially partners( on paper, my heart said otherwise)
In our short but sweet time together we have faced Discrimination, Homelessness, Abuse and more. We were renting a room in a Townhouse with my partner Uncle. We lived there for 18 months. We paid rent on time every month. We even cleaned up the common areas of the home. We had roommates (only one Roomate who helped him premeditated to get us out was there at the time)This man literally took our lives into his hands. He wanted to control us & everything we did. He made threats, false reports and even going as far as beating us; resulting to false arrest. We asked for help from everyone we know. (after coming out most of our family and friends turned their backs on us) We tried to get the police to help us... But as Lesbian Black women living under her Uncle.. we weren't heard. We didn't have anyone to help us with the harassment we were facing for months. We contacted everyone we knew. Numeroous calls and reports to the local precicnt. They never put one document into the system. Every other day, The NYPD was called. Everyday, This man would post false eviction notices around the house, gathering our belongings and putting them in trash bags. We was made homeless August 9 2016. The judge decided two women fighting for their lives are a threat to this man.. Before we got arrested, My partners Uncle broke into our room and stole our bed( he wasn't arrested because no one saw him do it...) He knew we would call the cops. He premeditated to get us arrested. We had a roommate who actually of the community (not out) help us get arrested. We need justice and help.

The funds donated will go to us renting our first and new home. We both never had our own space. My partner lived a very unfortunate life with her Mother & renting a room is what I can afford at that time. We have an exact breakdown of how everything will be spent. Which includes: First Month Rent, First Months security, Bedroom Set and saving to go towards our buisness( we are not on any government programs except Medicaid) We have been struggling ever since. We both do work as Independent Contractors. We need an miracle. To start our lives again from this disaster. We seeked help from the shelter but was discriminated there by the Shelter and Hotel staff. They(HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER) cut up our belongings, stole my debit card and threw our important papers in the toilet. Discrimination Against LGBT has to stop! No one SHOULD EVER go through this. Please help us raise awareness about Discrimination to the LGBT community.

NOTHING WAS DONE OVER THE SPAN OF 3 MONTHS.
THESE WERE THE PAPERS HE WAS POSTING ALL AROUND THE APARTMENT,
COMMON AREAS, BATHROOMS, CEILINGS ETC.... I ALSO HAVE VIDEO PROOF AS WELL.
I I HAVE MUST WATCHED THIS VIDEO ABOUT 4 TIMES. IT BRINGS E BACK TO A SCARY TIME I HAVE NEVER EXPERINCED BEFORE.. FIGHTING FOR OUR RIGHTS .
We came home August 9 2016 to discover the man in the video--
Broken into our room and stole our bed. He threatened to take it but
we didnt believe as we rented the room furnished. He filmed us as
soon as we walked in. We immediately called the cops. He stepped out
his room and told us to move. We was waiting for the cops. who is
going to wait inside of a place where someone just broken into?! So,
he proceeded to film us, I decided to film him as well. we have
written proof this was his motive. I wanted to catch him on camera.
this is what happened. The other males voice is the Other roomate at
the time who disreguard everything and didnt help us. I dont know
why... he's also apart of the LGBT community just not OUT as you
would say.
This is my beautiful partner Cyra. The morning(1am) of the
altercation. This is what her Uncle did, My damaged was to my back
and my spirit. it pains me to see this picture. We just want to
show that sometimes being who you are isnt easy. Family isnt always
Family. Dont ever stop being who you are and always follow your
dreams, Cyra and I want to thank everyone who contributes and reads
this story. At the end of the day we are together and much in love.
this chapter in our lives would be called Lessons, we certainly
learned alot of them. Thank you for taking time. We are forever
