Pitt Meadows Secondary offers a robust breakfast program to ensure students have access to nutritious meals. Every Thursday, staff and students collaborate to prepare and serve hot breakfasts, fostering a strong sense of community. The program has positively impacted attendance on these days. Additionally, grab-and-go breakfasts are available daily in support rooms, catering to students' needs throughout the week.

To address hunger and support students discreetly, "hangry" baskets filled with snacks are placed in every classroom. This initiative provides a stigma-free way for students to access food when they need it, with hundreds benefiting from this daily.

A significant portion of the student body relies on these food programs, with one-third identified as vulnerable. Pitt Meadows Secondary is seeking $15,000 from the Vancouver Sun’s Adopt-A-School (AAS) campaign to enhance these offerings. This funding will allow the school to provide healthier and more substantial food options, encouraging more students to participate and ensuring they start their day nourished.
