You probably have received the spam email that says, I lost my passport, I'm in England, can you please send me money?  

This isn't one of those, I'm not homeless.  I'm safe and warm but if you look around this globe, you have to agree that there are many less fortunate than ourselves.  Now you can skip over this message or you can take action to make a difference in a community, with a family, and offer hope and your love.

I've often sat and pondered how greatful I am for the many blessings in my life and generally donate $4 a day to a charity.  It feels really good!  How it started was while standing in line for coffee and recognizing if I were to give up one or two cups a day, I could make a big inpact in somebody's life.

I'm not asking you to forgo your coffee everyday like I did, however, I am asking you to skip a few coffees to change a life.  

You may or may not be aware how taxable donations work on your income tax but anything over $500 also comes back tenfold (set up for political campaign donations/shelters) So if you can spare a dime a day or a coffee a day, if you realize that you could have used more deductions this past year or if you have your own business and are looking for shelter, remember there are others looking for shelter as well.  Help me build hope and a future for one family.  Please be generous.
