Here we go again with the next country, next campaign.  I am stoked to also report, 100 percent of the donations that come in to meet the 1k goal, go directly to the Fijian people which I will be presenting with each donors name.   It has been a lot of work, tightening loose ends up to figure out the best way to run all these efforts, but I am confident this will really allow those unable to be here, still feel the impact they make, as I continue to document the entire process and journey.  

Currently in Fiji, the Matuku Island has a few communities, one of which is home to a family that found Smiles, the village of Yaroi. Upon my arrival to Fiji, I was able to bring items to the village, like supplies for the Rugby team.

Initial offering from Myself to The Matuku island recommended by the market policeman who happened to be from the Lau Group.  My initial gifts included, an official rugby ball for the team, training cones, and water bottles.  I also traveled with a new Sulu that I donated to one of the local men who was attending a funeral and 1/2 kilo of a Kava plant root for the local community Chief.

My meeting with the finder of the vessel and the local guide Villame, informed me for the need for a Starlink dish to help with better communication. So, I am currently on the hunt for funds and / or possible donors that can supply the estimated, 550 USD dish. The service will then be offered to the locals amongst the community I am told, to pay for the service on a monthly basis. Wanna help or chip in? Check out the rewards I am offering if you do so as well.  Getting to the Island with a dish is approximately a 3 day shipping ferry boat, roughly 100 Fijian dollars each way.  There is also a shuttle plane that flies into a neighboring island for about 150 USD but then requires another small boat to the Island for roughly 50 Fijian.  This campaign goal will be set for 1,000 USD of which all of the initial funds will go to the island and making the dish possible before focusing on Smiles and the next campaign.
