Warwick Walk
Warwick walk is our annual fundraiser. Students will walk with their class during the school day with some breaks and extra fun activities in between. Overall, our goal for this event is to raise $30,000 for school's operational needs. After $5000 are reserved for PTA operating budget, 60% of the amount raised will be distributed equally to Warwick staff for educational materials for the 2018-2019 school year. With your help our school will be able to purchase PE equipment, “atom kits” for science,classroom supplies, art supplies, curriculum materials, chrome books, books for the classroom, math games, and music supplies.
The other 40% of the funds are used for PTA sponsored events including the Reflections Art Program, assemblies, MAGIC, Science Night, family movie nights, the school play, and field trips. PTA also uses this money to purchase library books, student agenda books, disaster backpacks, and yellow Wednesday folders .
Students are expected to ask family and friends to
sponsor them during our walk-a-thon event. We
encourage families
to get matching funds from their employers as well. Flat donations are
preferred over the per lap
donations. Pledge forms will be coming
soon in your Wednesday folders. Online pledging is available at

Fundrz website. If possible, a donation of $100 per child
is greatly appreciated.
When is it?
The event will take place on Thursday, September the 27th, during the school day from 8:45am to 2:30pm. The campaign itself will run until the October 4th, so if you did't have a chance to contribute before the actual event use the opportunity to do it before the 4th of October.
Where is it?
The Warwick Elementary School field. 5 laps around
the field = 1 mile.
Parents, what’s next?
1. Ask family and friends to sponsor your child.
2. Many
companies will match an employee’s donation to charity. Check with
your employer about this.
3. Come and support your child on
