The Long Beach NY Chamber Commerce is raising funds to beautify the business districts around town. Your donation will go towards the planting & upkeep of Long Beach City planters all over the city.

The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce has received numerous inquiries from business owners & residents alike, regarding the empty planters along the business district on Park Ave. Currently the City's budget does not have the funds to fill these planters and so the New Chamber of Commerce is excited for the opportunity to bring the community together via "Beautify Long Beach."

Planters thanks to LB SocialSome businesses have already planted a few annuals and the Chamber has financed perennials,  native to the area beach grasses (miscanthus yaku jima and miscanthus hameln) and succulents that need very little attention, and will come back year after year, to kick this off for the summer.

WE NEED YOUR HELP - We know you care about Long Beach, the way it looks for us and our visitors. Your donations will be used for the planting and upkeep on the Park Ave planters, as well as, 30 additional planters throughout the central and west end business districts. $50 will fill a small planter and $85 will take care of a large one, but any amount $5, $10, $25 will go a long way to making our city more beautiful and a pleasure to stroll through and go shopping.

Please take the opportunity to get involved with both your business community and neighbors to "Beautify Long Beach" together. We are accepting donations through fundrazr.com and volunteers to help with planting/upkeep. To volunteer please email info@thelongbeachchamber.com
