7 Days....7 long days and night alone in a cage, with painful injuries.  Three times the shelter sent her out, asking for help from all their rescue partners, asking for a miracle for her, someone to step forward and give her a chance.  This afternoon, they reached out just to us, only us, asking for help.  We read between the lines and knew that if we said no, that would be it for her.  No chance, no future, the walk down that hall....

We couldn't let that happen, she had a frosty face, she had had some rough times out on the streets and we could not let her not have a chance.  A DRSF Shelter Volunteer dropped everything and raced to get her on the spur of the moment and found a little girl very much in need of help.  We named her Molly Brown, after the unsinkable Titanic Survivor <3

LeadER was alerted we were incoming and needed expertise to clean her open wounds that had been in a shelter environment for 7 days along with anything else she had going on.

Her lacerations are deep, two of them, one on her side, and one on her leg.  We have no idea how this happened, what she has been through, how long she had been alone.  Molly Brown was started on pain meds, fluids, antibiotics, and had her wounds cleaned and bandaged, tucked into bed with some good food while we wait for bloodwork to come back.

She had nobody to come for her, will you help us be her somebody?
