My name is Glenn, and I am a Filipino-American citizen of the United States. Thanks to my parents, I was fortunate enough to move to America where I currently reside. Now that I'm older, I've grasped the realities of poverty in the Philippines. Everytime I go back to my home country, my heart is wrought by the thought of millions of Filipinos struggling to survive on a daily basis.

I'm only one person and cannot do this on my own. That is where you come in. With your donation, however big or small, I would buy food and give it to homeless Filipino children and their families. Most families here get by on less than $3/day. Many people eat one meal a day; two if they're lucky. And some families survive on "pagpag," which is food that is collected from the trash and then recooked at home.

All I ask is that you make my dreams come true of helping my fellow brothers and sisters in the Philippines. One meal can bring a smile to their face. A full stomach can make a kid on the street forget about their problems for 30 minutes.
