Yesterday I noticed my Leo was licking himself more than normal, and was not eating, or drinking. Upon further investigation (me following him around the house like the overprotective mother I am), I found that he could not urinate. He got progressively worse as the night went on, so I tried to find a 24 hour clinic that could take him. The problem was/is, I have no money. Not a single dime. This could not have happened at a worse time finacially. The 24 hour clinics required the payment up front, and wanted $94 just for the initial exam! There was no way I could make this happen. So, I did what I could for him, and stayed up with him throughout the night. Then first thing this morning I contacted my vet, and they have agreed to give me until I pick him up tomorrow to pay the bill......but I'm just as broke as yesterday! When I left him he was sedated, with a catheter in to drain his bladder while they push fluids through him. Official diagnosis is Urinary Tract Blockage. I could really, really use some help to cover this expense, so I'm reaching out to all the kind hearted animal lovers out there! Anything you could spare will help. No amount is too small, and every dollar is met with the deepest gratitude!

UPDATE!

Leo is home, and HUNGRY! Lol. Also very thirsty. My kids made him his own little cubby hole where he can rest, and eat without being bothered by anyone. He is obviously feeling better, but not yet 100%. Doc said he is recovering well, but he's not out of the woods yet....he could block back up. He's on an antibiotic for infection, and a muscle relaxer to relax his bladder muscles. Thanks to the extra money I received, I was able to get him the special food he needed....which is sooo expensive! Holy moly! So any extra money received will go towards keeping him fed with the right food. Anyway, he's on the road to recovery thanks to you all! We thank you so so much, and we will keep you updated on his progress!
