We’re stepping far outside our comfort zones for something that truly matters - and this year, I’m incredibly grateful to have my partner and one of my biggest supporters, Sean, taking this journey beside me 🩵
Just like last year, we’ll be rappelling 170 feet down the side of the iconic CIBC Building in support of the Windsor Cancer Foundation - an experience that is equal parts terrifying, emotional, and deeply meaningful to us both.
Since being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I’ve made it my mission to push myself each year in support of those impacted by this disease. But this year feels even more personal.
We’ve watched cancer affect our families in new and heartbreaking ways. My dad, Mike, who is currently battling lung cancer, and Sean’s dad, John, was recently diagnosed with stomach and liver cancer. Seeing the strength they continue to show every day has inspired us to do more, give more, and keep showing up for this cause in every way we can.
We are doing this for the people we love who are currently fighting cancer, for those we’ve lost, and for the families who carry the weight of that loss every single day.
Cancer touches all of us in some way, and we want to do our part to help fund research, treatment, and support services that make a real difference right here in our community.
Every donation - no matter the size - helps bring us closer to better outcomes, more support for patients, and ultimately, closer to a cure.
