UPDATE;  FOXY spent Friday night at the ER vet in Marietta at a cost of $3,000.  She was diagnosed with pyometra and needed surgery as promptly as possible.  She was on fluids, antibiotics, had labs done and bloodwork, etc.  She had emergency surgery at Union City 24 Hour Vet on Monday.  She was hospitalized 4 days to recover.  Her invoice was $5,195.72 there.  Please continue to donate to help this precious girl.  The rescue has stood by her but they are not a large rescue and any help would be greatly appreciated.  She was released from the ER vet late yesterday pm and is at medical foster with a lot of medications.  We appreciate any and all help.  

FOXY - MEDICAL URGENT - Approximately 4 years old and 53 lbs. SHE CAME INTO THE SHELTER WITH LABORED BREATHING and needs out of the shelter to get immediate medical attention. The vet techs at the shelter have evaluated her and said she isn't pregnant but definitely has labored breathing.  She must get out to be seen by a vet for diagnosis and care outside the shelter.  Appears she will need emergency surgery for possible pyometra.  Xrays and bloodwork, 4 dx, etc have already cost $1500.

SHE needs funds to help with vetting, boarding and possible transport to an out of state rescue.   Donations are tax deductible and ANY funds received for a dog who is adopted, reclaimed or euthanized goes toward helping other Clayton urgent dogs.  We do our best to find rescue.  This precious dog  deserves a chance.
