How are donations used? Your donations will help meet the North County San Diego chapter Teen group meet their fundraising goal for the year to support the organization of their choice. This year, the Teens have chosen the March of Dimes and Jack and Jill Foundations as organizations that they are passionate to support.

Why are donations necessary? March of Dimes funds assist in research to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Further, they have been a longstanding partner of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. The Jack and Jill Foundation's vision is to transform African American communities, one child at a time, by investing in services, programs and organizations that focus on impacting the underlying issues affecting African American children and families.

The North County San Diego Jack and Jill of America Teen Group desires to make a strong impact in the local community by raising and donating funds to a chosen non-profit organization. A local annual fundraiser is an activity that every one of our Teens focuses their time and energy in ensuring its success. The group has led successful efforts every year, donating their proceeds in the past to organizations such as the Childhood Obesity Initiative, the Lupus Foundation, among others. Let's be sure to support and encourage our teens to continue this spirit of empathy for issues impacting our community.
